Who We Are
Along with the help of her mother and husband, Express Commercial Cleaning, Inc. was started in 2008. We are a Texas-certified HUB and an MBE/WBE registered with the City of Austin. Our focus is on commercial janitorial services. We’ve been listed in the Austin Business Journal Women-Owned Businesses List and Ethnic Minority-Owned Businesses List for 8 years in a row.

Evelyn Tavernier

President

From her native country of Guatemala City, Guatemala Central America, Evelyn first came to the U.S. at the age of 6 and a half years of age. Her single mother knew there was more to offer her daughter than the life she could provide in Guatemala. Saving everything she could and gathering all of their belongings, they made the trip to the US. Saving as much as possible and working hard were two lessons that Evelyn learned at a young age from her mother.

Evelyn struggled in her last year at Texas State University working part-time and commuting to school from Cedar Park daily but received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. Although she attended school longer than most, Evelyn paid 90% of her way through school with full and part-time jobs. It was while working at startups after graduating that she developed an entrepreneurial spirit. She hopes to raise hard-working and independent children.

Dan Tavernier

Director of Operations

Dan Tavernier has 16 years in the car wash industry where he developed his attention to detail and his people management skills. Ensuring client satisfaction as well as the financial goals of his employer he quickly managed to increase the car volume as well as dollar per car. After a month as a manager in training, Dan was promoted to General Manager. In 2009, after working a full-time job and part-time with Express Commercial Cleaning, Inc, he was brought on board as the full-time Director of Operations.

Acristian Rojas

Payroll Assistant

Acristian is an avid baker often spoiling us with wonderful treats from her home country of Venezuela which she is from the Island of Margarita. She has a degree in Financial Administration. In her spare time she enjoys cooking and observing Austin’s beautiful nature, she provides excellent support in the areas of payroll and human resources.

Leticia Tavernier

Office Admin

Leticia works our front desk and after spending 22 years raising a family of 5 alongside her husband is getting back in the corporate world in our office as our awesome office admin. She is a Central TX native and loves watching her busy kids play sports! Our field employees love the office support they get in the areas of supplies, and also help stay connected with customers through reports that she sends. Jennifer Cole

Accounting Assistant

Jennifer Cole was born in raised in Austin, Texas. She has 2 kids of her own, 2 step daughters and 2 awesome “grand-dudes”. She likes to spend her Saturdays watching the Longhorns play football and hanging with friends that are family. Fun Fact she loves chickens and has 8 and is expecting to get more. She helps support our customers with accurate invoicing, is a friendly voice you might hear when you call and oversees our insurance compliance.
